Kinect, is it good?
Kinect, is it good?
From what I have read and seen on Youtube, the Kinect seems to be a very well designed piece to go with the new Xbox 360s. It’s elegant shiny surface and curves match that of the new Xbox.
Looking at a more technical point of view, the Kinect lives up to its past rumours! We all knew its capabilities and now we can confirm them for sure!
It does take a while to set up (approx 10min), excluding connecting the cables. For owners of the new Xbox 360s connecting wires is a no hassle deal, although for those with the older versions have to plug and connect more wires. However looking on the bright side of things you don’t need to be an electrician to set up the Kinect.
The controller less Kinect is a first of its kind; it is a totally new form of gaming. The Kinect not only improved on the Wii’s idea through better graphics but it also made the whole experience more enjoyable. Using your hands to navigate is easy and accurate.
Playing the game is another story. Now the player is not sitting down in front of his TV holding a controller (not that there is anything wrong) but is emerged and becomes a key element to the game.
The games are innovative and have very good graphics considering what it does. For the moment there is not such a large library, though I am sure that there are many more to come in the future!
